Natasha's Letter

To my incredible Labor & Delivery Team,

Natashas Story Family Pic

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a wonderful birth experience.

Thank you, Dr. Mason, for being so incredibly awesome at your job for knowing that induction was the right decision, for all your cheerleading and encouraging words right when I needed them, for always being candid and honest, and for respecting my wishes to deliver the way I wanted to deliver.

Natasha's Story Baby

Thank you, Lynden, for you unwavering support, encouragement, and knowledge during 20 hours of labor.  Hearing your constant cries of “you’re doing great!” helped me keep on pushing when I wasn’t sure I could.

Thank you to the angel who administered my epidural.  I apologize for not remembering your name, because really I should get it tattooed across my lower back.  Your distractingly silly jokes helped this needle-phobe conquer a huge fear.  The only thing better than your bedside manner was your flawless administration of my epidural.

Hazel, her proud papa, and I are all so grateful for all that you did for us.

Hope to see you again (although not real soon, if you know what I mean).

With gratitude,
Natasha O’Rourke
