- WAYS TO GIVE
Gratitude can be expressed in many different forms. A kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a gift. Thousands of people each year make tribute gifts to Grateful Nation to mark an important occasion, honor a special person in their life, or memorialize a loved one. These generous gifts are an invaluable source of support for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and allow us to fund innovative programs and conduct additional groundbreaking research as we continue to provide quality care for our patients.
Gifts can be made to pay tribute or honor someone who has made a difference – big or small – for you or a loved one. It may be a parent, caregiver, teacher, friend, or colleague who has touched your life. Think of it as a unique opportunity and meaningful way to say “I’m grateful for you!” Grateful Nation will send a letter to the individual being honored to acknowledge your thoughtfulness.
A celebration gift is a wonderful option for acknowledging notable events such as a birthday, anniversary, wedding, birth of a child or grandchild, graduation, retirement, or holiday. It lets friends, family members, or colleagues know that you are thinking of them at this special time. Grateful Nation will send a letter to the individual to acknowledge your recognition of the event!
Memorial giving to Grateful Nation is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a friend or family member who has passed away. Many people choose to make memorial gifts in lieu of flowers. Grateful Nation will acknowledge all donations given in memory by a letter to the next of kin with an expression of sympathy.
