What is A Reason to Ride?
On September 13, 2009, I will be participating in a bicycle ride on the North Shore of Massachusetts to raise funds for leading-edge cancer research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Why am I riding?
My brother's wife Karen was diagnosed and treated for a brain tumor. The care she received and treatment she continues to get at the BI has helped to ensure she gets to be her best for their two little girls Haily and Hannah. I am personally grateful that the BIDMC was able to help them.
100% of proceeds raised through this bike ride go directly to Dr. Wong's Brain Tumor Fund and Dr. Lewis Cantley's General Cancer Research Fund. This research is very important to us!
Why join/support me or my team?
All of us will need medical attention at some point in our lives. We need to make an investment in the future care that we will receive. Pay it forward!
