From my Lovely Wife:

Nineteen years ago my father was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.  Over the years, my father has battled for his life undergoing constant treatment.  In July of this year, we heard the dreaded news that the tumor was yet again changing.  At the end of July, he started chemo treatments at Beth Israel (for the second time), which will last over a year and half. Shortly after starting chemo treatments, he contracted a virus and ended up in critical condition at Beth Israel. Despite this huge set back, his strength and constant positive energy do not waiver.  It's truly an inspiration.

In support of my father and brain tumor treatment, Stephen is riding in a race on September 12th that supports brain cancer research. If you are able to donate to the cause, we would so appreciate the support on behalf of my father and the countless others in his situation.  We pray for a cure.
Thank you so much. Kim

What is A Reason to Ride presented by Fuddruckers?

A Reason to Ride is a bike-a-thon founded in 2008 by brain cancer survivor and grateful patient Tom DesFosses. Now in its third year, hundreds of riders and volunteers will rally together on Sunday, September 12, 2010, to raise crucial funds needed for cancer care and research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Why am I riding?

To support Al and others in his situation. Cancer touches nearly everyone's life in some way. This is one way that I can help in the fight to end cancer. All funds raised through A Reason to Ride presented by Fuddruckers will go directly to Dr. Eric Wong's Brain Tumor Fund.

Why support me or my team?

I can't do it alone, but together we can make a difference. Our support can impact the development of new treatments, enhance patient care, and ultimately find a cure for cancer. Your donation, in any amount, will be greatly appreciated.

We thank you for your support!
